Personal

Hi my name is Kelvin and I have lived in Rakaia since 2008. In my spare time I like playing music in my band SuperPosition,  gardening and walking with my wife and our dog and playing computer games.

Professional

I studied computers and electronics at Christchurch Polytech from 1994 to 95. I worked for a couple years at an electrical trade outlet then found work as a software developer before giving that away to become a musician.

When I met my wife in 2007 I began work as a commercial printer technician and this continued until 2017 when I became a dental equipment technician.

When covid came around I found myself unemployed so started RakaiaTech.

By the way the ‘tech’ in Rakaiatech means technician not technology. So, Rakaiatech refers to me, in that, I am an appliance technician based in Rakaia. I don’t really want to change the name but I might have to at some point.
